1. What is the importance of the Grenada Revolution and its influence in the Caribbean?
Well, with the information of the video and things that i read in internet i can say that the Grenada Revolution was so important cause even with all the attacks that they get from USA, they still fight no matter what.

Granada is a very small island and only has a population of 110,000 people. The main origin of their income is tourism, but they don't have an airport, so received help from Cuba to build one.
USA use that to invade the island for "the cuban fear" that thet had.

USA says that was a victory when they finally invade and conquer Grenada, but so many historians says that Usa from any point of view, the United States won a victory, cause ¿where are the glory, greatness and victory to invade and conquer one of the smallest countries in the world, without any economic or strategic significance? Where is the feat of fighting a handful of civil workers and collaborators?

The Grenada revolution is important cause show to other countries to fight no matter how many of yours are, and also cause was the first revolution in the caribbean sea.

2. Thinking of the poems and what you saw in the documentary, how did postcolonial identity change in Grenada?
The poem that makes the most sense to me is that of "the lesson", since it talks about how people (women) understood in a bad way that they were repressed, but no matter how hard they have treated them they were going to fight for their independence and stop being the shadow of the conqueror.

Recall that the poem speaks of being anti colonial, which means being anti colonial, also the poem ends saying that they will rewrite history, but now from their vision.

Therefore, I can say that after the revolution they begin a new era, where they make their island home, people who work for a better future in Grenada and obviously with pride for everything they have done, what they do and what they will do.

3. What was the role of the mass organizations such as the National Women's Organization (NWO), the National Youth Organization (NYO), and the pioneers movement?
Well as we can see in the video, both movements are shown several times by the contribution they make in the revolution, since women play an important role in mobilizing and fighting.

In the poem of the lesson it is always spoken in feminine, and how they are going to remake the story, leaving in evidence that they are an important part of this revolution.

With young people it is something similar, since it is seen in the video how they are able to mobilize people to be an important part of the revolution.

All this is surprising, since like all patriarchal cultures, it is always the man who leads the revolution and in this case so were the women and the young.

4. Name 3 things that inspired you from the documentary.
One of the most inspiring things was see the girls sing, that song was very sticky and it gave you the feeling of battle, a feeling of wanting a better future.

Second, the different speeches we see during the documentary and the different testimonies that people give about what they are going through as a community.

Finalent, I find it difficult to choose only one as I find that the whole documentary is inspiring, the story of GRENADA is, that is, a small island being invaded by one of the world's biggest hegemonic monsters for any reason and still get ahead.
