The Grenada Revolution Review 1. What is the importance of the Grenada Revolution and its influence in the Caribbean? Well, with the information of the video and things that i read in internet i can say that the Grenada Revolution was so important cause even with all the attacks that they get from USA, they still fight no matter what. Granada is a very small island and only has a population of 110,000 people. The main origin of their income is tourism, but they don't have an airport, so received help from Cuba to build one. USA use that to invade the island for "the cuban fear" that thet had. USA says that was a victory when they finally invade and conquer Grenada, but so many historians says that Usa from any point of view, the United States won a victory, cause ¿where are the glory, greatness and victory to invade and conquer one of the smallest countries in the world, without any economic or strategic significance? Where is the feat of fighting a...

the 3rd review: Rcokerssss!

Image
Rockers the review Well, i've been in four courses with bejy, english 3, 4 and two EFB. He always show us a lot of movies with social movement topics. i'm saying this cause in this 4 courses this is the most slowyly movie that we saw by far (y said slow to not say boring, whatever my boggs are always so honest). 1. How does the main character, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, compare to the other main characters (Ivan Martin and Derrick Thompson) in the first two films we saw? Well if we start to remember what we talk about the last class theres a lot of things what we can say and compare obviously, for example if the main characters are good or bad. Derrick and Horsemouth did things thinking in the others and also because they are always following their dreams, in the other hand we got Ivan that was a selfish human that always was thinking in himself. By the way, i think even that Horsemouth and Ivan are so different cause their goals ...

Second review: Ghett'a Life I have to say that in the begginig i didn't get the meaning of the movie, but later i get it and was good, i really enjoy it and has a good message, also the music was amazing too, well now i will start the review haha. 1. Who was your favorite character (s) from the film? Why? I think that defnitelly my favourite character was the derrick's Mother cause she was amazing and  great in so many ways, for example she wasn't afraid to oppose her husband, she was strong and defnitely she wanted the best for her child. In the movies theres no so many women that stand out from the crowd, but in this case was different cause we have the oportunity to saw someone like her. Also i want to make an special announcement to Derrick thjat wasn't my favouirte character but he really was a good character, he fight for something that he love and want, he was very persistent and also very woke cause he find the bad thing...

Review N°1: The harder they come Hi everyone, it's me again, in this case i have anoher subject "the jamaican culture" and this is the first movie revie about the movie The harder they come. ( this is the fourth blog that i create for benjy hahah) 1. In general, what did you like and dislike about the film Honestly the most entertainer thing for me in the movie was the music, i mean, since the first second of te mlvie they played music and i was moving mi head from one side to another cause was really good music. Is really interesting seing how the reggae started in Jamaica, and even more in a movie like this. We can saw that a lot of peple has a desire to do that kind of music, they tried, but just a few has the succes. The thing that i didn't like was that i feelt sometimes that the movie has so many "relleno", things that were no necesary to put on the movie, so obviously with that the movie was so slow at least for me. The ...
